Ron Carty

Tenor, Vocals and Percussion. "I really like to sing with my friends and see new people enjoy Irish music. I got interested in Irish folk music by singing round the campfire with Jeff Miller, Tommy Hopkins and other members of the Irish Jasper Greens Civil War Reenacting group back in the early 90's."

Don Shaffer, Fiddle & Vocals.

"The camaraderie is priceless. The IJG's are salt of the earth. For centuries in Ireland, people came to the nearest farmhouse or pub to hear, sing and play music. Music was not about the polished, highly produced sound of CD's or superstars in large concert halls. It was local. We are the local musicians. We hope to keep that tradition alive."

Jeff Miller

One of the founding fathers of the group

Karen Cunningham

mandolin and vocals. Irish traditional is the most challenging and rewarding music I have studied, but the IJG is much more than just the music. It's the friendships, the bonding, the good times and the rainy parades, and....oh, shut up and sing!

Tommy Hopkins

Tommy is our Bodhrán Drum player and a first Tenor, a man of many songs, and the ability to bring tears to the eye.

Bob Seay

"Guitar (and, occasionally, banjo or bagpipes) and also, occasionally, bass and/or tenor (but not while piping. it's kinda difficult) I just love making music!!"
